We built Recipy in the simplest way to save your family’s recipes and pass them on.
So much of what our parents and grandparents know lives only in their heads. We want to keep that knowledge alive. For the people who taught us. For those who come next.
Before you press record.
Can I record someone else’s recipe?
Yes. You can record yourself or someone close to you, with their permission. You handle the phone; they tell you how they make the dish. Nothing to write out first.
Must we finish it at once?
No. Start with one Recipy, review it together and come back for another whenever you’re ready. Your book grows one conversation at a time.
When can we get the printed book?
Printed books are coming soon. You can start collecting your Recipys and sharing the digital book today.
Can I correct a generated Recipy?
Yes. Once you’ve saved a Recipy to your account, open it to edit the ingredients, quantities and steps. Check it together before sharing.
How do I share my digital book?
Open your book, choose Share and send the link to your family. Anyone with the link can read the book and its Recipys without an account, but cannot edit them. You can revoke the link from the same menu.
